The 7-2 Indiana Hoosiers take on the 2-9 Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (say that 3 times fast) Cougars. The Hoosiers come in losing 2 of their last 3, while SIUE comes in after a thrilling double overtime victory over Kennesaw State. This might be Indiana’s easiest game of the year. To be put in perspective just how bad SIUE is, they lost to Iowa 111-50. Yes, you read that right: One hundred and eleven to fifty, Five – Zero. After playing UK at Rupp arena, IU is going to feel like they are playing a JV high school team. But like the old saying goes, there is a reason you play the games, so I guess you never know what can happen.

The “experts” predictions:
• Ken Pomeroy (AKA The +/- hater) is predicting IU to win 87-55. I predict the +/- stats blow his stats away. Actually that’s not a prediction, that’s fact.
• Jeff Sagarin: Predicting IU 82 – SIUE 57.

My Prediction:
• SIUE may be able to match our effort but not our talent. The Hoosiers win this one easy: 93 – 58.
